As a key outcome of the CBIM project, the Massive Open Onlive Course (MOOC) gathered lecture notes, presentations, and recorded lectures from esteemed BIM scholars and industry professionals with extensive experience in BIM implementation. Additionally, it includes research outcomes from 14 Early-Stage Researchers (ESRs).

The course is structured into training sessions covering BIM fundamentals and practical applications, and sections highlighting research findings from the project. Topics include BIM introduction, BIM-based sensing, advanced BIM applications, Digital Twin technology, entrepreneurship management, and collaborative working. Additionally, the course offers supplementary reading materials, practical assignments, and support resources for participants. It bridges the gap between BIM research and industry applications, contributing to sustainable, productive, and safe management of built infrastructure, aligning with global trends in digital construction management.

The MOOC is free and open to the public through Technische Universität Berlin “civilsystems.eu” website by using the following link:  http://moodle.civilsystems.eu/moodle/course/view.php?id=2, and entering the guest access password: mooc.access. Additionally, there is an option to enroll directly as a “student”.
