Project Title: CBIM business models

Objectives: To develop suitable business models and a business-model-canvas-based framework allowing start-ups to quickly assess the market potential of CBIM-related innovations. The ESR will explore market opportunities for exploitation of CBIM results. This will be explored through consultations with business angels, banks, and state funding agencies. A participatory approach will be undertaken, where intensive interviews with experts from all consortium partners will be conducted, and workshops will be organised to refine and sharpen the business models so that they can be readily rolled out within construction companies.

Expected Results: The interviews and workshops will be matched with the state-of-the-art in business modelling and entrepreneurial management, providing insights into the best business models around CBIM innovations, including B2B and B2C methods and financing schemes. These will be translated into a specific set of business model canvases targeted particularly towards CBIM-based innovations

Enrolment in Doctoral degree: Technical University of Berlin, PhD Civil Engineering.
